Nocterra is a family-friendly taproom. We encourage you and your family to stop by for a round of beer and some food from the food truck. Kids must remain seated or be accompanied by an adult when walking around.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on our porch and in the beer garden. We ask that owners clean up after their pets. Due to allergies and some people’s fear of dogs, we can’t allow them in the taproom.
We made it up! “Noct” for “nocturnal” and “terra” for “earth.” When brewers Bryan Duncan and Bruce Vivian first started brewing they were young dads and had to brew at night after the kids went to bed. They shared a love of the outdoors, with Bryan into skiing and rafting, and Bruce into hiking and skydiving. They felt “Nocterra” summed up those collective experiences.
It’s a cool creature of the night. If you look closely, you’ll see the hop cone in The Moth’s back. The antennae are barley. There are stars and moons to represent night. You can even find two “N”s hidden in the lower wings for “Nocterra.”
